Laurie is a native Vermonter. In addition to her work as an intuitive healer and medium she is a clinical social worker who currently has a private mental health therapy practice in Rutland Vermont. In her clinical practice she has worked with survivors of trauma and violence, addictions and the chronically homeless. She was a clinical social worker at the University of Massachusetts teaching hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts where she covered three intensive care units and assisted patients, families and staff as they grappled with the impact of trauma and illness, end of life decision making and death and dying. In addition, her experience with her mother’s terminal illness and passing heightened her sensitivities, understanding of grief, and the power of love and connection. 

Her collection of work and life experience helps to inform her healing practice. She is available to meet with individuals and families and embraces the opportunity to include the family pet in the conversation if they are willing and have something they wish to contribute.
