The Philosophy of the Pyramid Holistic Wellness Center
Plain and simple, we are here because we want to see people have
the highest possible quality of life. We believe that most of the wellness troubles people have are related to the high levels
of stress we all experience in modern living. So the Pyramid was designed from the ground up to be a place where you can relax. Whether
you are receiving a wellness treatment, shopping in the wellness marketplace to bring the wellness experience home with you, taking
a class, or just dropping in for a moment's breather, every color, texture, shape, sight, sound, and smell was put in place to help
you relax from the moment you walk through the door. We want every person who enters our facility to leave feeling a bit better than
when he or she came in. That said, we have addressed many of the problems that often plague facilities similar to ours.
1. Education, training, and experience. Our practitioners and instructors are all professional, respected experts in their fields
with appropriate credentials. Every person behind the desk has some area of expertise and is here because she or he loves helping
people find and maintain wellness. We treat everyone with respect and uphold your right to privacy and confidentiality.
2. Elitism. At the Pyramid, we are just every day, down-to-earth people doing the best we can to make a difference in the world. We
are not concerned with your socioeconimic background, race, gender, age, religion, or sexual orientation. We keep our prices reasonable
because we believe everyone should be able to partake. And we do not treat you like we are better than you. We are not here to judge
you. And you will not find us putting down other facilities and practitioners because we believe that everyone has something of value
to offer. Here you won't find any fake "new age"-ness or elitism.
3. Environment. We do our best to provide a clean,
healthy environment for you. The atmosphere at the Pyramid is light. We love to laugh. Although our place does have some fragrances,
you will not be overwhelmed by the smell of incense when you walk in. Please do not be fooled by our commercial appearance.
We wanted to create a place that would have a mainstream feel so people who might not otherwise come in would be
comfortable. Despite this, the Pyramid is locally owned and operated. We also know that many times men are especially
uncomfortable in a facility like this, so we took extra care to make the Pyramid a place where everyone feels at home. We run
our business with old-fashioned values and we do our best to help the environment by using recycled and biodegradeable
products, and limiting the wasteful use of resources like electricity and water. We are here for you, and we are grateful
for our customers!
