At the Pyramid, we believe that all aspects of the individual--body, mind and spirit--contribute to a balanced lifestyle. We believe healthy eating and physical fitness are the foundation pieces for creating this “Pyramid of Health & Wellness.”  Our fitness and yoga classes help you get in touch with your body and build the strength and confidence you desire. You will find effective, safe, fun and motivational classes to meet a variety of fitness levels at an affordable price. Our instructors are all caring professionals here to help you become the best you can be. Our environment is comfortable and down to earth and we welcome all levels of experience from beginners to advanced. All our classes are held in our spacious third floor ballroom studio located at 120 Merchants Row in downtown Rutland Vt.  BLENDED

Blended is a combination class featuring roughly half fitness and half yoga. During the fitness portion, participants may experience a wide variety of cardio and strength training activities, including interval training, kickboxing, yogaerobics, cardio dance, step aerobics, cardio drumming, circuit training, weights and more. The second half of class features yoga postures, stretching, breathing, and guided meditation to bring balance to one’s wellness routine. Every class is different and suitable for all fitness levels from beginners to more advanced participants.

 STEP AEROBICS

This class is a form of aerobic exercise, using a routine of stepping up and down on an elevated platform with a lively and fun routine. Step heights can be varied for beginners to more advanced levels. Strength training activities are added for a complete workout.

KRIPALU YOGA

Kripalu yoga is about compassion, taking the time to connect to your body and accepting your body as a teacher. Kripalu Yoga is an interplay of body, mind and energy. This is a gentle to moderate class that includes centering, breath work, meditation and relaxation. This class is suitable for beginners as well as more advanced levels.

GUIDED MEDITATION

Go on an inward journey using a variety of guided meditations meant for deep relaxation and inner connection. Allow yourself to quiet the mind, be still and experience the peace as you relax in the soothing environment of the Salt Cave. The sessions will be pre-recorded and occasionally there will be live guided meditations. Live meditations will be listed on the Facebook page when they are scheduled.
